Nokia has recently announced their next flagship as Lumia 1020 sporting a mammoth 41MP camera but it wouldn’t be available any time soon. Especially in developing countries like India, which look like a third world to westerners, the products hit the local market long time after they’re made available in the West.
The Nokia Lumia 925 is for those who can’t wait.
The Lumia 925 comes with an 8MP snapper featuring Carl Zeiss Optics, OIS, dual LED flash, AF and is based on Nokia’s own Pure View technology. It also sports an HD AMOLED display spiced up with Clear Black display and Pure Motion HD+ technology. The resolution is 768×1280 pixels which translates to 332 ppi on a 4.5 inch display.
It is based on a Qualcomm MSM8960 chipset featuring a 1.5GHz dual-core processor which is much better than the quad-core solutions offered by MediaTek chipsets. The Adreno 225 GPU alongwith 1GB of RAM is suitable to take care of your gaming needs.
It runs on Windows Phone 8 for now but will be upgraded to WP8 Amber soon. This smartphone derives its juice from a non-removable 2000mAh Li-Ion battery which should last for at least 2 days on normal usage.
The good thing is you can pre-order it now for INR 33999 only and expect to get your hands on the device before the local retailer.
Which brings me to the point, are you going to brag about it to your friends having the good old iPhone 5 or any cheap looking Galaxy droid for that matter?
