Xolo Tab QC800 launched for INR 13499 online: Is it worth it?

Xolo has been trying its best to make its mark in android smartphones but lately it is trying to stretch its arms in the tablet market too. The latest product of this effort is Xolo Tab QC800.

Xolo Tab QC800

The QC800 tab was launched online without much fanfare. Indians are not embracing Xolo products at the moment but it will happen in sometime. Xolo is famous for making great value for money smartphones so, this Xolo tab should be worth the wait.

It is based on rather outdated Android 4.1 JB which runs on top of a quad-core processor. Android 4.1, seriously?

Heavy multi-tasking needs are taken care of by a generous 1 GB RAM chip. However, you won’t be able to install many games at a time as the internal memory is just 4GB (user available should be close to 2.5 GB).

This Xolo tablet bears an 8 inch IPS LCD display supporting a resolution of 1024×768 pixels. It does support 3G for video calling which is facilitated by its front VGA and rear 2 MP camera.

Other connectivity options include USB 2.0, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and Wi-Fi. The 4000mAh Li-Po battery should be enough the power up the tab for a single day.

Only time will tell how good the tablet is. We’ll do its detailed review as soon as we get our hands on it.
